October Newsletter

I thought rather than bombarding the Children's Church volunteers with lots of emails concerning small items, I would consolidate into one monthly newsletter. In this month's email:

Email address correction: Please change Melody's email address on your list to (email address removed -- if you need it, please contact Kim.)

Name?: What do you think of the name "Children's Church?" Can we think of anything better? If I get some suggestions from you guys and gals, I will put them together for the kids to vote on -- let them pick a name. Send me your thoughts!

Reminder emails: I will try to send out an email about 10 days before you are scheduled to teach, letting you know who is schedule to teach prior to your date (so that you can pick up curriculum from him/her) and who is scheduled after you (so that you can pass the curriculum along). Remember, if you cannot make that transition from one teacher to the next, there is a yellow box in the library for the curriculum. Place the books there, or look for the books there.

Kids Klub: Kids Klub is scheduled to sing in church on October 16. I have scheduled an "assistant" for that date to try to help with the added number of children. We will see how that goes, and if it is decided that the extra help is valuable, I'll schedule someone to help on the Kids Klub date in November.

October 9 — Youth Worship Service — no Children’s Church
October 16 -- Debbie with Aly and Ben assisting
October 23 -- Jean
October 30 -- Jodi
November 6 -- Vicky
November 13 -- Debbie (Thanksgiving material to be written)
November 20 -- Jeff
November 27 -- Michelle
